Volunteers on the Rise

Volunteers are the backbone of our sport. They are essential, unique and invaluable to growing our sport and we rely heavily on volunteers to run clubs.

One of the biggest barriers to growing our sport is the lack of volunteers and so RYANI launched the Volunteers on the Rise programme in 2021.

RYANI along with RYA and home countries are working together to make sure we support our clubs to create a strong base of volunteers, & a sustainable volunteering culture.

VOR allows RYANI to gain valuable insight into club and volunteers. We can find out how to get volunteering right within our organisation by reviewing clubs current volunteer structure and find out how best we can support their needs through available resources, best practice support and successful case studies.

This programme will provide support within volunteer recruitment, training and promote volunteer opportunities so that the right volunteer will fill the right role. Working on our volunteers can break down the barriers and allow our sport to grow even more.
